TRAVELLING FROM EDINBURGH

1. From Edinburgh City Bypass A720 (travelling towards A1 from Airport/Ikea/M8 - West & Southside of City).

2. Start out on Edinburgh City Bypass (A720) following signs for Berwick upon Tweed A1.

3. Continue on A720 Bypass.

4. At Sheriffhall roundabout take 3rd exit continuing on A720 - signposted Berwick upon Tweed A1.

5. Approx 1.5 miles take the first left slip road (Millerhill Junction) - signposted A68 - Jedburgh at roundabout, take 2nd exit passing under A720, straight over further roundabout onto A68.

6. Continue on A68.... 'WARNING SPEED CAMERAS ON A68'

7. Approx 15 miles - Carfraemill Roundabout, take 2nd exit (straight on) - signposted A68 Jedburgh

8. Continue on A68

9. Approx 4 miles you enter Lauder, continue through village follow signs for Thirlestane Castle.

10. As you leave Lauder take first left signposted for Thirlstane Castle / Kelso A697

11. Approx 3oo yards on your left, enter Thirlestane Castle

TRAVELLING FROM THE SOUTH

1. Head to Lauder using the A68 to Earlston
2. Follow A68 until 200 yards prior to entering Lauder
3. Take the first right signposted for Thirlstane Castle / Kelso A697
4. Approx 3oo yards on your left, enter Thirlestane Castle
